Training for project managers in Sicily

Three participants from Macedonia attended а training course in project management “Turning Young People Needs into an Action Plan” which was held in Caltanissetta, Sicily, from 16 to 24 September. The training was funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Union, and was organized by Prism, a nonprofit organization that works to promote entrepreneurial skills in young people.

33 young people from 11 countries: Italy, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Poland, the Netherlands, Estonia and Lithuania participated in the training

The training was through informal education for participants to gain knowledge of PCM (Project Cycle Management), and learn how to apply that knowledge in successfully managing  their projects. But the training was also a way to familiarize the participants with the culture of the countries of the other participants which were involved in the training and share best practices in their organizations for their projects.

This training was an unforgettable experience, through an informal and fun way presenting the key steps of managing the project, but also to learn about the culture of Sicily, and the organization Prism. The participants have gained skills that would encourage them to take part in the organization of projects, and help for their successful implementation.
