The team of CEFE Macedonia on field in North Kosovo

On 20.03.2018 and 21.03.2018, the team of CEFE Macedonia was in Kosovo, where they visited 28 businesses in the northern part of the country. These visits were realized within the project “Youth, Employment and Skills” of GIZ Kosovo, where CEFE Macedonia is engaged as a subcontractor organization.

Namely, in January this year, as part of the project, two 5-day soft skills training courses in North Mitrovica were realized. At these trainings there were 50 participants, who later on the matchmaking event, met the businessmen who expressed a desire for hiring interns in their organizations. The practice will start on April 1, 2018 and will last until June 30, 2018, and for this period of three months, CEFE Macedonia has provided a 150 Euro monthly fee for each of the 50 interns.

The aim of the visit of these businesses in Zvecan, North Mitrovica, Leposavic and Zubin Potok was for concluding agreements with businesses and the 50 interns who will start practicing with them from the beginning of April. In addition, a secondary goal was to learn about the needs of the businesses and the problems they face in the north of Kosovo, but also to have a closer look at the business climate in this region.
