Within the project “Why go abroad when you can stay and invest in your country”, a business meeting was held in Struga (22.04.2015).
Thanks to the International University of Struga that were excellent hosts and organizers of the meeting, and the US Embassy Macedonia who supported this project. The meeting attended 70 delegates from business and civil society from Struga, professors from international university Struga, representatives of Vevcani Municipality, and students of the University, who came from Albania, Turkey, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro. Before participants presented opportunities for the development of entrepreneurship in Macedonia, presentations on “how to prevent the outflow of talent” were held by professors from the University, and the video presentation on the role of universities in the development of entrepreneurial spirit among students.
The video is part of an online course which will represent Macedonia entrepreneurial story in the course Beyond Silicon Valley: Growing Entrepreneurship in Transitioning Economies.
